Nail Polish for Fungus-Affected Nails
OliproxTM nail polish is designed as an effective, targeted solution to help prevent fungal infections and as a supportive care product during the treatment of onychomycosis (nail fungus).
Onychomycosis is a contagious chronic condition caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, or molds. It makes the nail plate cloudy and dull, and the nail becomes brittle. Over time, the nail may turn yellow, thicken, and develop an uneven, rough surface. At first, only one nail may be affected, but the infection can gradually spread to other nails.
OliproxTM nail polish contains a unique combination of active ingredients: climbazole, piroctone olamine, and rosemary extract. It is a water-based gel. Climbazole and piroctone olamine provide targeted antimicrobial action against microorganisms that compromise healthy nails. Rosemary extract helps protect against a wide range of bacteria present in the environment.
This gel forms a protective film over the nail plate to help shield against nail-damaging microorganisms. The synergistic combination of active ingredients helps eliminate microorganisms already present on the nail plate.
How to Use:
OliproxTM nail polish is recommended for use once or twice daily. Before first use, apply to the entire surface of clean, trimmed nails. Allow to dry for approximately 3–4 minutes. It is not recommended to remove OliproxTM nail polish for the next 2–3 hours. If it is removed, repeat the application. It is also recommended to apply OliproxTM nail polish before bedtime. As with all nail fungus care products, it should be used for at least six months—i.e., until a new nail plate grows out.
