ANNA LOTAN COSMETICS
The brand’s founder, Ukrainian-born Anna Lotan, lived in Israel. She has been in cosmetology since the 1950s. In the world of beauty professionals, Anna Lotan is known as an expert in cosmetology, cosmetic chemistry, and biology, the creator of many unique cosmetic products and an original deep-cleansing skincare method; it was she who proposed using natural plant colloids to prepare the skin and for subsequent care, and introduced the term “cold hydration.” Distinctive features of Anna Lotan products: the use of biologically active substances of natural origin (where possible-in their natural form). The products are created with an aim to avoid using ingredients that are unacceptable for the skin altogether-preservatives, synthetic fragrances, colorants, and surfactants-or to use them minimally.
