Free From SLS & SLES
All of our shampoos are free from SLS and SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate), which are harsh cleansing agents that may irritate the skin. Instead, we chose a milder cleansing ingredient derived from coconut: SODIUM COCETH SULFATE. By using a more skin-friendly cleanser, we help support wellbeing and maintain the scalp’s physiological balance over time.
Free From Petrolatum
Petrolatum (Paraffinum Liquidum – Petrolatum) is a refined petroleum derivative that coats hair and skin with a film, preventing them from “breathing” and receiving the oxygen they need. We decided to replace it with naturally derived ingredients that offer similar benefits while being more skin-friendly and not compromising wellbeing.
Skin and hair should be able to do the most natural thing—breathe.
Free From Silicones
Silicones are inorganic, silicon-derived polymers produced through chemical synthesis. While they can instantly soften hair and add shine by coating it with a film, over time they may harm the hair structure. They also prevent active ingredients from penetrating the hair because they seal the cuticle scales on the surface layer. That’s why we don’t include them in our formulas.
Free From Parabens
Parabens are preservatives that have sparked extensive discussion. Scientists have not yet provided a definitive answer as to whether they are harmful or harmless, necessary or unnecessary. Still, while awaiting clarity that removes any doubt, we chose to use a safer preservation system.
Free From Colorants & Allergens
We chose to use only non-allergenic fragrance components to ensure our formulas are gentle enough even for the most sensitive skin. No INSIGHT product contains synthetic colorants.
