No SLS or SLES
All our shampoos are free from SLS and SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate), aggressive cleansing agents that may irritate the skin. Instead, we choose a milder surfactant derived from coconut: Sodium Coceth Sulfate. By using a more skin-friendly cleanser, we help protect well-being and support the scalp’s physiological balance over time.
No Petrolatum
Petrolatum (Paraffinum liquidum – Petrolatum) is a refined petroleum derivative that can coat hair and skin with a film, limiting breathability and oxygen supply. We chose to replace it with naturally derived ingredients that offer similar benefits while being more skin-friendly and safer for overall well-being.
Skin and hair should be able to do what comes naturally—breathe.
No Silicones
Silicones are inorganic, silicon-derived polymers produced through chemical synthesis. While they can instantly soften hair and add shine by forming a coating, over time they may compromise the hair structure. They can also prevent active ingredients from penetrating the hair by sealing the cuticle scales on the surface. That’s why we don’t include them in our formulas.
No Parabens
Parabens are preservatives that have sparked extensive debate. Whether they are harmful or harmless, necessary or unnecessary—science has not yet delivered a definitive answer. While awaiting clarity that removes all doubt, we chose to use a safer preservation system.
No Colorants or Allergens
We use only non-allergenic fragrance components so our formulas remain gentle—even on the most sensitive skin. No INSIGHT product contains synthetic colorants.
