All of our shampoos are formulated without SLS or SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate), which are aggressive cleansing agents that can irritate the skin. Instead, we chose a milder cleansing ingredient derived from coconut: SODIUM COCETH SULFATE. Using a more skin-friendly cleanser helps protect wellbeing and supports the scalp’s natural physiological balance over time.
Free from Petrolatum
Petrolatum (Paraffinum liquidum – Petrolatum) is a refined petroleum derivative that coats hair and skin with a film, preventing them from breathing and receiving the oxygen they need. We chose to replace it with naturally derived ingredients that offer similar performance while being more skin-compatible and gentler on overall health.
Skin and hair should be able to do the most natural thing—breathe.
Free from Silicones
Silicones are inorganic, silicon-derived polymers created through chemical synthesis. While they can instantly soften hair and add shine by coating the hair with a film, over time they may compromise the hair structure. They can also prevent active ingredients from penetrating the hair by sealing the cuticle layer. That’s why we do not include them in our formulas.
Free from Parabens
Parabens are preservatives that have sparked extensive debate. Whether they are harmful or harmless, necessary or unnecessary—science has not yet provided a definitive answer. While awaiting clarity that removes all doubt, we have chosen to use a safer protective system.
Free from Colorants and Allergens
We chose to use only non-allergenic fragrances so our formulas are gentle enough even for the most sensitive skin. No INSIGHT product contains synthetic colorants.
