NO SLS OR SLES
All of our shampoos are formulated without SLS or SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate), which are harsh detergents that can irritate the skin. Instead, we chose a gentler cleansing agent derived from coconut: SODIUM COCETH SULFATE. Using a skin-friendlier cleanser helps protect wellbeing and supports the scalp’s physiological balance over time.
NO PETROLATUM
Petrolatum (Paraffinum liquidum – Petrolatum) consists of refined petroleum derivatives that coat hair and skin with a film, preventing them from “breathing” and receiving adequate oxygen. We decided to replace it with naturally derived ingredients that offer similar performance while being more skin-friendly and not compromising wellbeing.
Skin and hair should be able to do the most natural thing—breathe.
NO SILICONES
Silicones are inorganic, silicon-derived polymers created through chemical synthesis. While they can instantly soften hair and add shine by forming a film on the hair, over time they may negatively affect the hair structure. They can also prevent active ingredients from penetrating the hair by sealing the cuticle scales on the surface. That’s why we do not include them in our formulas.
NO PARABENS
Parabens are preservatives that have generated extensive debate. Scientists have not yet provided a definitive answer on whether they are harmful or harmless, necessary or unnecessary. While awaiting clarity that removes any doubt, we have chosen to use a safer preservation system.
NO COLORANTS OR ALLERGENS
We use only non-allergenic fragrances, making our products gentle enough even for the most sensitive skin. No INSIGHT product contains synthetic colorants.
